Information we collect

When you send a form, SLYH collects your name, email address, enquiry type and submitted details. These may include activity preferences, location, availability and budget; coach applications may include experience, qualifications and portfolio links; school briefs include programme and organisation details. We also record the enquiry reference, receipt and consent timestamps, and follow-up status.

Please do not submit identification numbers, diagnoses, health records, payment details or other sensitive information. For access arrangements, describe practical needs rather than a diagnosis. Do not share another person’s details unless you have authority to do so.

Why we use it

SLYH uses submitted information to review and respond to coach requests, activity requests, coach applications, school briefs, partnership enquiries and privacy requests. The website also uses limited enquiry information to prevent duplicate submissions and form misuse.

The form’s consent is for handling your request, not a subscription to unrelated marketing. Submitting a form does not publish your details or automatically forward them to coaches or other participants.

Who receives it

Enquiry information is available to authorised people handling SLYH’s follow-up and service providers that host or process the website for SLYH. SLYH does not sell enquiry information. Disclosure for legal or safety purposes must be permitted or required by applicable law.

The site uses managed hosting and database services. Hosting may involve processing outside Singapore; this notice is not a promise of Singapore-only storage. Health tools and browser storage

The BMI and calorie tools calculate on this page. SLYH’s calculator does not send or save your age, height, weight, equation selection or results, and does not attach them to a coaching request. The exercise planner also works on this page: its optional measurements, support answers, activity preferences, daily availability and generated routine are not saved or sent to SLYH or a coach. Following the coaching link does not transfer these answers. Clear the relevant tool or reload to remove its inputs and results. This does not prevent the hosting service from processing the technical information needed to deliver the website.

When you send an enquiry, browser session storage keeps a fingerprint of the submitted answers, a random request ID and a timestamp to help recover the same enquiry after an interrupted send. The answers themselves are not stored there. These identifiers are for retry handling, not advertising.

The retry ID can be reused for up to 24 hours after its last storage update. This is a reuse limit, not a scheduled deletion promise: browser session storage may remain until the session ends or you clear it. Where offered, “Send another” clears the previous retry entry. Disabling browser storage does not prevent enquiries, but limits recovery after a reload.

How long we keep it

SLYH keeps enquiry information only while it is reasonably needed for follow-up or a legal or business purpose. When those purposes no longer apply, personal information should be deleted or anonymised. There is no automatic deletion countdown shown by this website; marking an enquiry closed does not itself delete it.

You can ask us to review whether your information is still needed. Any copies in email or other systems need separate review; removing details from the website record does not itself remove those copies.

Your choices

You may request access to your personal information, a correction, a retention review, or withdrawal of consent for future use by sending a privacy request or emailing slyh.sg@gmail.com. You can use email without completing a website consent checkbox.

Withdrawing consent may mean SLYH cannot continue handling your enquiry. It does not automatically erase records that may lawfully need to be retained. SLYH may need proportionate information to verify a request; please do not email identification documents unless a suitable process has been explained.

Children and young people

As SLYH’s service policy, requests involving anyone under 18 should come from a parent or guardian, or an authorised school or organisation. This is not a statement that every Singapore privacy-consent rule uses age 18. Do not include a child’s full name, contact details or other unnecessary information in an initial request.
